On the other hand, I sometimes felt a little cut off from Kayla emotionally by her headstrong attitude. She gets over things so quickly. Will Kayla and Jared get back together or are they just over and friends again? They ensured that The Oracle Rebounds was not going to be a repeat of The Oracle of Dating, but more importantly, they allowed for a lot of character development. After reading the first book in the series, The Oracle of Dating and liking it. I liked simple romances of teenage girls and guys and when i saw the book i couldn't resist. Most notably one with Benoit — the French foreign exchange student. Sure, it wasn't extremely memorable, but it was enjoyable.
To my surprise, I enjoyed The Oracle Rebounds even more! Most notably with Benoit — the French foreign exchange student. Please email me at kelseythebookscout gmail. In the end, I believe Kayla made the right choice. And I lost my interest in writing a review for the first book As I was hung up on Jared and Kayla's relationship, it was definitely a depressing moment when I found out that they were going their separate ways, and honestly, the book lost it's spark to me. Kayla is a fantastic main character, because she is just so real. And suddenly, everything starts making sense again…. Umurnya baru 16 tahun tapi ia telah meretas jalan bisnis dengan membangun sebuah website yang menjajakan layanan konsultasi beragam persoalan seputar kehidupan percintaan remaja dating dengan nama samaran the Oracle.
I also love the articles Kayla writes. Her cheating and sexting are downright dangerous and they're concerned but they seem to take a live and let live approach. But, nyatanya saya malah penasaran untuk membaca buku sebelumnya, The Oracle Dating, hahaha. But when controversy erupts about the Oracle's advice, Kayla is sent reeling once again. Kayla goes against her own advice when she falls for an exchange student and kisses the first guy to pay attention to her at a party. This book was about a girl named Kayla who had been dumped by her boyfriend.
Allison van Diepen wrote an awesome chick lit book, again. She doesn't cause a scene or act crazy. To me she is not perceived as a teenager. So the expert on dating starts taking her own rebound advice--and some from her friends--and stops moping around. I decided to give the second book a try. What did she do that got her hurt that much? He was stupid for leaving Kayla, and then, they'd get back together again? Better watch out for spoilers if you haven't read the first book.
What did she do that got her hurt that much? I never feel the need to yell at the book. I recommend you read the 1st book to see how compatible Jared and Kayla really were. It made me love the series much more. She's supposed to have the perfect relationship.
I thought that it will be just a stretch, a twin of the first book. Some of her blog posts are included and I think they have what sounds like great advice. But when controversy erupts about the Oracle's advice, Kayla is sent reeling once again. But he is only staying for two short weeks.
She is someone any teenager could relate to and her experiences are believable and made me like her even more. They each have something special about them and we also get to learn more about their own relationships and how they are handling them in The Oracle Rebounds. She has a yummy boyfriend, Jared This book is cute - and light, and fluffy. So the expert on dating starts taking her own rebound advice—and some from her friends—and stops moping around. Or more like him breaking up with her to focus on himself. I know that can be a reality in the world of blogging, so it was pretty neat to see it included in the story.
The book starts with Kayla and Jared break up. I need Kayla to be with Jared, he's supposed to be her true love or at least he is for me during this book. But at the same time, I feel a bit off giving fluff books five or four stars unless they seriously made me laugh out loud , or if it's fluff that evoked a strong reaction from me like I loathed every single one of the characters yet was still endless How do you rate a book that is just run-of-the-mill fluff that's far from deep, yet is really fun? Still, The Oracle Rebounds has its charms. Am i only only one who saw that fault? I thought The Oracle of Dating was a fun and original read and was more than excited to get started on the sequel. She is someone any teenager coul I thought The Oracle of Dating was a fun and original read and was more than excited to get started on the sequel. Loved how Allison portrayed this aspect of a relationship. I rate this book as follows: Heroine: 5 stars Subcharacters: 5 stars Writing: 5 stars Chick-Lit Plot: 5 stars Romantic Subplot: 5 stars Overall: 5 stars Disclosure: I received a review copy of this book through the Amazon Vine program.
